Each Carocha seats 3 people. Max. 6 people with both Carochas.

In 1958, two Volkswagen Beetles left the factory. Today they still drive the roads of São João da Pesqueira - and they are the ones that come to pick you up at Ferradosa station.
The Carochas only drive on paved roads. To explore the estate, there is the jeep.
Each Carocha seats 3 people. For larger groups, both Carochas set off together.
Your Root
in the Douro
Some things do not fit in a suitcase on the way home. A vine you planted, a plaque with your name among the vineyards - that stays.
And every year, when the grapes ripen, the estate remembers you.
Planting
Come to the estate and plant your own tree or vine. Named plaque, updates throughout the year.
Sponsorship
Adopt an existing plant at the estate. Same updates and harvest invitation - no visit required.
Plant your tree
Choose between a vine, olive or almond tree. It stays with your name on an identifying plaque.
Follow its growth
Throughout the year you receive photos and videos of your plant, direct from the estate.
Return at harvest
Annual invitation to return during harvest season and see what you planted.
Receive at home
Subscription option: products made from your plant's yield, sent to your door.
